Our cabinet builders at P5 Millwork are detail oriented, hard working individuals. They focus on the details to ensure the job is done with precision and a high-level of expertise. Our cabinet builders are also well rounded woodworkers willing to grow and expand their knowledge. As a cabinetmaker at P5 you will be responsible for knowing and practicing safe working methods and have a strong knowledge of shop practices, procedures, techniques, tools, equipment, quality control, and safety equipment. Dedication to quality craftsmanship and the possession of mathematical and analytical skills are essential in this role.
As a company we work on both residential and commercial projects with varying levels of complexity and quantity. You will be required to cut and build boxes and countertops - some in larger numbers for our multi-unit apartment projects, and then some more intricate designs for our residential clients or specialty medical work. You will assemble millwork components into completed units using fasteners, adhesives, and joinery techniques; as well as interpreting and understanding shop drawings to fulfill the work order.
